How Did Things Get So Bad?

It has been months since the last time I have updated. You can pretty much say I have been out of my mind busy. Things have been way out of hand (and when I mean things, I mean everything). Friends, family, work, school, which in other words equals stress, stress, and more stress...

Recently, my so called "best friend" chose his girlfriend over me. In my opinion, any girlfriend/boyfriend that makes their significant other choice between them and their friends should be shot. OK, maybe not shot, but definitely dumped. The reason she made him chose was because clearly I was a threat and I don't mess around. This girl decided to be sneaky while he was away at boot camp and I was the only one that had the balls to snitch. No one likes a snitch but I thought we were best friends. If the shoe was on the other foot, I'd hope he'd do the same. But unfortunately, I was on the losing end and I lost a friend. I guess we all live and learn but one thing is for certain, two is for sure, that in the VERY end, I will be the one who won and standing there laughing! Once he gets home from school in May, you all can guarantee those frauds will be put on blast.

Next on my list, work. Last I left off was I got a hostess job at a brewery. Starting after Spring break I am going to look for another job. The people there are unfriendly and the job in general is just... Awful. Did I mention the people there are awful, too? It took them about a month to actually put me on the schedule after I was completed training. You would think that they would put a new employee on the schedule if they were THAT eager to work. I need money! I'm not playin! This week is my first week actually on the schedule. How ridiculous is that?

School is just as bad. I've learn that for the past year, all of the classes I have been taking for my accounting major are not transferable. You can only imagine how stressed out I am. So in other words, all of my money and time have gone to waste (or at least most of it). This up coming week I am applying to colleges in SC (College of Charleston being one of them) and getting a move on so I can get the hell out of here by the Fall. The latest, Spring of 2014.

Luckily, some good comes with the bad and for the past month I have been ACTUALLY dieting and exercising. And yes, it is for real this time (last time lasted like 48 hours). So far I am down 5lbs! I am going for an entire new me. I can't wait for you all to see. I am aiming for 120lbs (started at 138lbs) and on my birthday (April 3rd), I am dying my hair and getting a tan. Doesn't sound like a big deal but for me... It is. I haven't done anything different with myself for years!

With some good comes bad, but then more bad. I have been breaking out like you wouldn't believe and about 3 weeks ago, I got my hair cut and lets just say it looks like a 2 year old took a pair of clippers to my head while I was sleeping. My skin literally feels like it has been crawling because of all the stress. My skin reminds me and looks like a 14 year old teenager going through some major puberty. So I have decided to do some product reviews for my first entry back in the blog game. First one being, ProActiv the 3 Step System! Today is my first day back on the system so this is just based off of my experience. TOP 5 Q:
WHERE CAN I BUY IT? I am pretty sure you can call or order off their website. I know they also have boutiques now that they are more popular.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? It depends on what kind of system you get. If you purchase the original 3 step formula it runs about $30. But if you need the extra strength formula (which I probably will try) runs around $50. Also along with the 3 step program you usually receive their refining mask, dark spot corrector, OR spot treatment as a "free gift." So you get quite a lot for the price.
HOW DO I USE IT? This is the tricky part. I used ProActiv when I was in middle school and it worked for me off and on (which is why I am so skeptical about starting it up again). BUT after reading reviews on ProActiv's site, I read that it really makes a difference on how you follow the 3 step system. First, using the "Renewing Cleanser", you gently wash your face like you would with any other cleanser with luke-warm water, rinse completely off, and pat dry. And when I say completely off, I MEAN COMPLETELY OFF, because it will bleach your towels. Next, use the "Revitalizing Toner" with a cotton ball or pad and swipe it evenly over your entire face. Next using the "Repairing Treatment Moisturizer," spread and rub in to entire face evenly like a normal lotion.
HOW'D YA HEAR ABOUT IT? Like I said, I had heard about it when I was in middle school and all of my friends were using it. It worked off and on as a teenager, so now that I am more grown up that's why I am going to give it another try.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT? WHY? Based off of my experience in middle school as a teenager, I wouldn't suggest this product because it was not very reliable. Some weeks it would work extremely well, other weeks it would make my skin worse. But who knows, this is why I am trying it again. It might work better this time! I will keep every one posted.

Next and last product is Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD. TOP 5 Q:
WHERE CAN I BUY IT? I'm pretty sure you can buy it at any Best Buy or video store. Where you can buy DVDs, I am pretty sure you can find this! I found my DVD at Target.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? This is the best part... It only costs around $10!
HOW DO I USE IT? It is a work out DVD. There are 3 levels of intensity and you progressively every week increase your intensity. I was on level 1 for about 2 1/2 weeks because I was that out of shape but by the end of week 2 I was able to complete the entire workout with out a break. Oh and did I mention the workout is only 25 minutes? Only piece of advice is that you will not see results unless you do the work out almost every day.
HOW'D YA HEAR ABOUT IT? Funny enough, my mom introduced it to me about a year or two ago and I never had the stamina or the discipline to do it every day.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT? WHY? OH MY GOD, yes. I hate working out but this video motivates me to get up every day and do it because it is only 25 minutes long. Also, I have been keeping up with it and already I have seen extreme results. Go Jillian Michaels!

2012 Recap

MONTH BY MONTH RECAP OF TWENTY TWELVE

I want to see if I could do this... This should be funny (PS I am that bored because I am sick -__-).

January 2012: I got caught talking to 2 guys at once. One being my favorite hook up Andy and my boyfriend at the time, Nick (luckily, both forgave me). But I ended up going to a place with Nick while Andy was there. Talk about awkward. New Years Eve I was deathly sick so I couldn't go hang with my friends but a few days after NYE, I left PA with my friend Emily (at the time) to help her move to Florida. It was fun! We went to all of the parks and I helped her get all of her stuff ready for move in day.
February 2012: I had a ton of fun visiting my friend (at the time) Alli at WCU and almost got an underage. Funny story. I haven't drank that much in all of my live in a single hour. After the party, we came back to her dorm hall and I immediately ran to the community bathroom to throw up... The RA caught me getting sick and called the cops on me. Luckily, by the time the police guy arrived, I was dead asleep in my friend's roommate's bed. He woke me up and I convinced him that the reason I was getting sick in the bathroom was because I had diabetes and the only thing I had eaten that night was a donut. Later that February, I went and visited my "boyfriend" Nick at his school in Virginia. Borderline, one of the shittest experiences. His "frat" was a bunch of hicks. I ended up missing my bus later that weekend because he was too lazy to wake up. I was not happy with him...
March 2012: My friend Emily at the time came home from Florida and we celebrated her birthday around spring break. Eric and his friend Andy came over my house one night and slept over. My mom made a scene (PS we were all drunk, especially Emily) and came in to my room as I was hooking up with Andy to tell me she thought there was a raccoon in her closet. Apparently it was making a lot of noise.
April 2012: I experienced my 19th birthday. I did nothing.
May 2012: I failed school. Really badly. My GPA was like a 1.5... But after I failed school, I went to Florida to visit my friend Emily. We went to Discovery Cove and pet dolphins and swam with sting rays. We also went to Orlando to go clubbin and she almost got me killed (part of the reason why we are no longer friends). Long story but long story short, we went, she got drugged, lost everything, had no ride home, stranded. The end.
June and July 2012: Constant partying and going to the shore with my friends. I also went to the zoo and it was hot as shit (NEVER doing that again). Oh and I also got sun poisoning, on my face, twice...
August 2012: I got my lip pierced and it was awesome (at the time). I went and got wrecked at the Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa Under the Influence Tour concert and ended up hooking up with my good old friend Andy... Again. Next day, I took my "boyfriend" Nick (you can tell he wasn't really my boyfriend when I keep hooking up with other guys and putting "quotations") to the Phillies game. It was fun. After that, the weekend rolled around and I went back to the shore... I hooked up with another kid Alex, Nick found out, Nick stopped talking to me. THEN school started.
September 2012: I started my blog about EVERYTHING. My sister experienced her 14th birthday. We did nothing. I went to the Phillies game with my good friend Cristina and her friend Cait. I became extra good friends with the Jews and Eric... And who can forget about my best friend, Adam!
October 2012: I was bat girl and a nerd for Halloween and I forgot to mention this when it actually happened but I almost got pregnant. ALMOST! With Eric... So I guess you could say this is when we started "hooking up." Oh and I almost forgot to bring up the fact that I lost my job at Tabora the bakery.
November 2012: Thanksgiving was... Ok. I got a job at American Eagle. Disaster. There were some deaths.
December 2012: I got a 3.2 GPA after I took my impossible finals. My best friend left for the air force and I completely 100% parted ways with my old friend Emily (cause she's a bitch). I started birth control. I realized that Eric and I will never be anything at all so that's why I hooked up with his friend Andy again. I had one of the best Christmases. I quit the worst job ever. And most importantly, I learned to appreciate everything for what it is. Don't take things for granted especially your friends and fam.

Best Christmas

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and Santa brought you everything that you asked for! This Christmas definitely was the best one by far. I really am so thankful for my entire family and all of my good friends. So thanks to everyone for making this holiday season so so special and obviously to all of you who read my posts weekly! This year was especially nice because I didn't have work the day before Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve. It was really relieving and I didn't have the stress I normally have around the holidays. I was able to make Christmas cookies with my mom and do some last minute shopping for the rest of my family. As you can see, I had to take pictures of the cookies (because if not I wouldn't remember what they look like). We made butterscotch, strawberry/blackberry jam thumbprints, spritz, red velvet cupcakes, and snickerdoodle cookies this year, which is a lot more than usual (probably because I was home).

I also had girls night on Saturday which was fun. Nothing too special. Very typical. The girls and I ordered pizza and drank a little bit and even went in to Ashley's hot tub (I haven't done that in a while). It was good spending time with all of the girls for a change but the only thing is that I had made plans for all of us to get together with the guys later that night because they were having a party. Long story short (leave it up to the guys for some serious miscommunication), it got way too late and Ash didn't want to leave her house... If it were my home base I would of been completely fine with it but that's just me. I can leave at any time of the day or night just knowing I am gonna have a good time, that's all that matters to me. Maybe it was meant to be that we didn't go? We ended up watching the new Step Up "Revolution" (which don't waste your time unless you love dancing... Like me).

Christmas Eve rolled quickly around the corner after that. Every Christmas Eve we go to my dad's side of the family (the ones that actually live here). Most of my dad's side lives in Portugal (yes, I'm Portuguese). Luckily, the cousin that actually lives here is only a year older than me. Him and I get along like brother and sister. This year was a little different just because normally my aunt's friend comes around and brings her one son (who is also the same age and I have grown over the years to be really close with). This year, they didn't come because Paul (her son) was admitted to a rehabilitation center in Florida for being addicted to heroine. So scary. It just wasn't the same with out him being there. But besides that, over the past 3 years my cousin and I just smoke up the entire time and eat until we feel like dying (sounds ridiculous) but it is extremely fun. Christmas was awesome, too. I got everything that I had asked for plus a couple of my mother's personal touches, like a new Restoration Hardware blanket that is softer than a new born kitten... But seriously! Christmas day we get together with my mom's side of the family and that was real fun. I usually don't get along with all of my cousins as well as I hope but this year was cool. Christmas night was a different story... Ready for this one? I went to Eric's friend's house, Andy, and it was probably the most awkward thing of my life (of course, they don't know that though). I am holding this false guilt with in me because I secretly hooked up with Andy behind Eric's back. I have hooked up with Andy before (freaky because I hooked up with him last Christmas, too) and I actually genuinely liked him. Things fell through because neither of us wanted a relationship and even weirder, I got the impression that Andy was kind of... Gay? Yes, like homosexual. That's a whole other long story at itself. That'll be for another day. But the reason why I say "false guilt" (if that's even a thing) is because I do feel guilty that I did that but at the same time I really like Andy. Like... More than Eric. I am stuck in a weird love triangle and I need to find a way to remove myself from that situation. I mean obviously the truth will come out eventually this break... I just need to prepare myself!

Besides everything that happened over Christmas, I wrote to my friend Adam today. For those of you who don't know, he left for basic training for the air force about 2 weeks ago. I can't get over him leaving! I miss him way more than I thought I would. Every time someone brings him up I can't help but get all filled up... And I even got filled up as I wrote him his first letter. I wrote, "I miss you more and more every day," I hope he feels the same. He is irreplaceable.

Much love,

The Big 1,000

I just wanted to thank everyone for tuning in to my blog and reading all of the bull shit that I have to say! With that being said I just reached over 1,000 views (not including profile views) which is really, really awesome though. I had no idea I would even reach it to 500 hundred, if that.

This week is the big finals week and I actually have been studying? I have such bad ADD when it comes to studying, I can barely focus on anything. Listen to this! I even took a "break" earlier and guess what I did (yes, me, I did this)? I washed the dishes, swept the kitchen floor, and folded the laundry. Clearly, I wanted distraction and I have been practicing on being a good housewife (LOL, JK). Besides finals, I've been struggling to keep up with my dumb job that I SO desperately want to quit (even though I only work like 2 times a week) and over all nothing exciting has happened. I haven't talked about "boys" in awhile? Maybe because I have exactly what I want (maybe...). I know I have said this before in some of my other entries but I am beginning to feel like I am not meant to have a boyfriend and be in a relationship? Which is crap (maybe it's my attitude ha ha).

Some other news... An old friend of mine is coming home this week from Florida for a few days, and on the other hand another friend of mine is going away to Texas (for boot camp) for 6 months. Both of which I am not too happy about at all (for different reasons of course). My friend Emily moved to Florida around this time last year and we kind of just grew apart. The reason I am not too thrilled about her coming is because I know there will be problems. That is just the way she is! And my best friend Adam is leaving for 6 months and... That just sounds bad! I am gonna miss the shit out of him but everyone's got to move on and do their own thing, right? He'll be home soon enough I guess.

I got to hop back to my study game for the day... So more to come later this week!

Much love,
JTS

Funny Disasters

This is going to be a long one. First things first, my Thanksgiving was just Thanksgiving, thanks for asking. AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PICTURE, I was really excited for turkey. Not only was I super excited to eat some turkey, I was really super excited to see my family (I hope you can catch my sarcasm. If not, I am being 100% sarcastic). You're probably wondering to yourself, "how could you not love Thanksgiving? And how are you not pumped to see your fam?" Well I will tell you. My family and I usually eat Thanksgiving dinner every 3 months because for some reason it is just THAT good (I don't see why), so for me it really isn't that special. Also, this Thanksgiving I couldn't care if I saw my family or not. My grandparents are a different story because they both are the tits but my aunts, uncles, and cousins... Not so much. All they do is cause problems. Thanksgiving over all, even though I wanted to eat dinner outside, I made it fun with my ridiculous comments. But anyway, MOVING ON, to your right is my turkey dinner outfit (how exciting). And you guessed it, ALL American Eagle (literally, and while I am listing, please forget I have a discount). Starting at the top is my metallic loop scarf from AE and that was around $25. I am not a huge fan of scarfs but I figured it was part of the whole "fall fashion list," I mind as well give it a try (click on scarf if you want to check it out). Next is AE last season's plain, peachy, tank. A standard tank is usually around $15 which is a lot but I will admit that the quality is really nice. Unlike Hollister's tanks, they don't fall apart as easily. Next is my crystal button cardigan by AE as well (cardigan is clickable). This is a really nice cardigan that I can see myself wearing for any season. It costs about $40 (which is a shit ton so I suggest you get a coupon). My jeggings are obviously from AE and these are one of my favorites (jeggings is clickable). My boots are ONCE AGAIN, American Eagle, and they cost me around $60 with a coupon and all ya'll already know that because I have posted them before. Lastly, is my bracelet set by AE for $20 which I love and is great for stacking with my fossil watch (bracelet is clickable).

Now everyone, I want you to look at this picture closely to your left. I want you to ignore my last name but recognize the fact I emailed it TO MYSELF, the subject of the email is "I fucked All of them," and I emailed this to myself at 4:48 in the morning on Thanksgiving (in my mind clearly it was still Thanksgiving Eve). How ironic is this picture? And not only ironic, it looks like one big disaster (hence my post title). Thanksgiving "Eve" is supposedly the biggest party night of the year (more like the biggest party day in November)? But my girls and I decided we wanted to have a girls night and get drunk at my house. After getting drunk at my house... We went to the boy's house (so much for girls night). And when I mean "the boy's" house, I am talking about Eric's. And that is how that extremely memorable picture that will never be deleted was captured. 4 extraUNordinary friends, in 1 extra DRUNK hilarious photo. Clearly they would not understand why this picture is so funny to me because they don't know about... Ya know... Fucking Happy Thanksgiving guys (no pun intended but really I intended it)! With all of that being said, I wanted to point out my email address is posted and if anyone would like to email me a question or even suggestions "privately," feel free. It is jesstaysan@gmail.com and you don't have to include your name if you do not want. Just make sure you don't fuck with me and be mean and shit or I will be pissed... Just saying because it is not necessary!

Last for today is my outfit along with my fun city adventure. This outfit is 100% dedicated to my Polyvore set "New Job Day 2" but the only change is my jean selection and shoe selection. This "shimmer tweed" blazer is definitely well worth the $80 because it is adorable. I wore it today and I can't tell you how many compliments I got on it. The thermal featured is from American Eagle as well and it says on the front "fall for me" which is kind of sketchy because there is a reindeer behind it BUT I still thought it was cute for $25. Next I wore my black jeans with my black boots! As you can see to the left... My mother is a ginger. We look nothing alike it is a little scary. Her and I went to the city today and got bangin breakfast at this sort of French pub like restaurant and I must say, it was to die for. We walked around even though it was chilly and stopped in to a few stores and even the market. The market in the city is always crazy busy but it was fun. We got 4th street cookies and cannolis for my good ol' pops!

This break was quite hilarious! Since this post is already longer than I wanted it to be, I will make sure next post I will tell everyone about my first day of work (Black Friday). Much more fun to come though especially tonight... Back off to the city with everyone!

Much love,
JTS

Not So Scary

I haven't updated in a while which is totally weird because it's not like I have anything better to do anyway!

Last weekend was standard. Friday I reconnected with my friend Devante and we went to the mall, ate, and we saw Paranormal Activity 4 in spirit of Halloween coming up (which is one of my favorite holidays). For all of you scary movie junkies out there, I suggest that you don't see this movie. I was a fan of Paranormal 1 and 2 but this 4th one was total ass. It wasn't even scary at all! The 1st one really blew my mind away so comparing the 1st to the 4th was like... Self explanatory. Terrible. I wouldn't waste your money. Saturday was so typical me... I did absolutely nothing! You'd think that since I don't work now I would make an effort to go out and do something. BUT on Sunday a group was gathered and we all went to this sketchy "haunted land" like 2 hours away. I was stoned and I still wasn't scared! Not one of those creepy characters could scare me! It was even the kind where the actors could touch you... Not scary. I can't figure out why nothing scares me anymore, it's depressing. On the other hand, I almost wish I could have ever night be like last night. Eric came over and I convinced him that Kevin Hart's Laugh At My Pain stand up on Netflix was hysterical. And of course, I am almost always right! It really was hilarious. My favorite part is when he talks about his mother's funeral. Doesn't sound funny, but leave it to him to turn it in to a joke. After that we watched Paranormal Activity 2. It was a lot of fun watching it with him because we both equally tried to predict the "demon's" next move. I actually don't mind not having a boyfriend right now especially if I have someone like him to come over and cuddle with every once and a while!

I don't have to much to talk about today but I wanted to do a review on my new Bare Minerals Deep Cleansing Foam I bought about a week ago. And holy crap! This stuff is boarder-line perfection! I can't believe how good this stuff actually works. I noticed results after the very first day (no, I am not lying). Here's my TOP 5 Q...
WHERE CAN I BUY IT? You can buy this product at your local Sephora, Ulta, or Bare Minerals boutique (or anywhere else that sells "high quality brand" make up).
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? It cost me around $21 ($20 + tax) but let me tell you it is %100 worth the price.
HOW DO I USE IT? This is the awesome part. The bottle might seem a little small for the price but you only need to use a pea sized amount. What I do is damp my face with luke warm water, squeeze a dab on to my clean index finger, rub the dab between my 2 index fingers, and then rub in a circular motion all over my face until the smooth cream turns foamy! After, I rinse with more luke warm water then pat my face dry with a clean, dry, and soft towel. I do this routine every morning when I wake up and every night before I go to sleep.
HOW'D YA HEAR ABOUT IT? I actually came across it on the official Bare Minerals website! I clicked on the skin care tab and I was immediately drawn to this product because of the reviews it was receiving. I really liked what everyone was saying especially the reviews that have the same skin type as me (oily, gross).
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT? WHY? Of course I would recommend it! The price is a little steep but I think personally it is totally worth it. From the time I hit puberty I always broke out and my skin was so annoying! I tried everything from ProActiv to just a generic Neutrogena wash and I felt like nothing really worked that well. So I am hear to tell you that this product does prevent oil, prevent break outs, and evens out your skin tone. I also love this product because it's smooth, soft, and foamy which is really nice because I don't feel like it's irritating my face as I scrub in to my pores. So thanks Bare Minerals! A+ for you guys!

I can't wait to show all of you my Halloween costumes for this year! I have 2 so far but I think by Thursday I'll have my 3rd.

Thursdays Are Boring

I mean FML for attempting to try to make an OOTD collage at school in the bathroom (and I have my back pack on ;)). But on the other hand at least no one was in there (or I wouldn't of done it). My outfit are all items you can find in other posts. My American Eagle dark jean jacket, my Roxy pink sweater (which looks like a dress on me), my With Love From CA necklace, my Fossil watch, American Eagle white wash jeans (first time I've worn actual jeans in months), last my Forever21 chestnut colored gladiator sandals (that I stole from my mother).

Currently I am in my accounting class. Go me for being such a good student and not paying attention... This whole not having a job thing is really starting to bug me. It's been a little more than 2 years where I've been constantly employed with back to back jobs and now that record is gone because my boss rather get his dick wet than have people that actually work! Men... Other than my job crisis... I wanted to talk a little about my love life (surprised to say I barely even have one). I'll be hanging with E probably all day today, bullshittin. Cause what else is there to do? I'll meet up with him after this class, we'll drive somewhere, do the whole "see ya later" thing afterwards, then I will see him after dinner. Oh, I am suppose to buy him his Halloween costume today, too -__- (buy it your facking self). These are things I had in mind tonight... Possibly movies? And... That's it. Wow, I suck. And broke. FML!

Much love,

I Needed This Weekend

This weekend couldn't have went any better, honestly. It was crazy. I'm about to run through my entire weekend like it is my job. First on Friday, October 5th I worked late for "First Friday" which I probably already mentioned in one of my other posts. But if you aren't aware of what "First Friday" is, it is the first Friday of the month and apparently that is an excuse for businesses to stay open 4 hours later than normal and have "specials." And with that being said, people obviously take advantage and come out of their holes and walk around town. After I got off work, I went right to my friend's house (the one I've been trying to suck face with for the past 2 weeks now) and my other friend (who is his good friend and I've hooked up with once before) was there also. Talk about awkward.  Those guys are all about making (sexual) comments so you could tell when one or the other got uncomfortable. It was kind of funny. We just did the norm (norm = normal) and hung out. After the one kid left, I was left hanging to decide whether or not I should stick around to hang out with my friend (I should probably start using names only because I'm beginning to feel like I call everyone "my guy friend"). He offered to make me eggs (weird but nice), so I hung around expecting this egg experience to be taken further. We watched South Park for a bit and then continued the night watching Louie C.K. who is HILARIOUS. I knew nothing was going to happen the way I wanted it to but I was okay with that. He grabbed us a blanket, yada yada yada, and it was just a straight cuddle fest. Whatever, I was over it. But at the same time, I did know that if we hung out Saturday, October 6th we would get mangled (mangled = drunk) together and I would make sure something would happen! Even if that meant I had to go in and make the first move. Cheers! I went down to the city with my two girls (starting to introduce names) Bekah and Ash and went right to the Jewish frat (the one I was telling you about last entry). And I heard correctly... Those kids really did know what was up! They knew how to throw down. They were planning on 600 people but in all reality I would say it was close to 300 (still a shit load of people). They had close to 90 cases and all exclusive liquor bar (which I wasn't cool enough to see -__-) but luckily Ash brought a bottle for us to share (which is good enough for me cause I'm a light weight). I'm more of a party hopper than anything. I don't like staying at one place for too long so I contacted Eric (yes, that is his name). Eric and his friends attempted to get in to the frat but they were denied (due to maximum capacity and cops roaming around the party). So this is where things begin to get sketchy. I left the frat expecting the boys to be outside but once I got out there, they were no where to be found? Ring, ring, ring, voicemail... Ring again, no answer, ring, ring ring, what? They wouldn't even answer my calls either? I was fucked. I was all by myself and couldn't get back in to the frat because of the douche bag "brother" at the door (the girls weren't answering their phones either). So luckily, I finally got a hold of Eric and he sent me the address to the party. As if I knew were the fucking party was anyway? I don't live in the city! Another luckily, one of the brothers I had met in the fraternity walked out and as he was walking by me, he offered to take me to the street the party was on. My feet were literally on the verge of breaking but I was eager to see my friends (and to hook up with E -__-). I walked alone along the street and (typical) some random, small, creepy guy ran up to me trying to make conversation. No. I just wanted to make it to the party! At this point, I felt like 3 hours have gone by (but not really). This kid was not gonna leave me alone (I don't even remember his name) but he offered to get me in to the party my friends were at (because it was $2 a head and I was dead broke). We got in and immediately I was on the hunt to find my boys and I thought I was going to die because this kid would not stop trying to hold my hand and pull me out back to get jungle juice (jungle juice = toxic, dank ass drink that gets you trashed after two cups). All of a sudden, a ping pong ball bounced off my "Gaga" wedge and as I went down to pick it up I collided hands with (you guessed it kids) Eric. I was never more happy in all of my life to see somebody. I jumped in to his arms and I didn't ever want to let go. I went around to give all of the guys a hug and proceeded to tell them all about the kid that still wouldn't leave me alone. He was just being creepy watching alone and along the side lines waiting for me to approach him. NO, again. Now this is where I want to die (in happiness)! My plan was to go in and make all the moves first (cause clearly I didn't know what his intentions were) but I was caught by surprise... I kept grabbing his hand and he kept telling me don't worry about it "he's got it." I was slightly confused so I asked, "what do you mean you got it?" He grabbed my face and said, "this will make him go away," and he did exactly what I wanted to do... So much boo lovin (click on "boo lovin" if you don't know what that is, compliments to UrbanDictionary). I couldn't believe he actually went in for the kiss before I did? But then this kid actually approached Eric and was trying to say something about it! Like really? The whole night E had my back. After a few drinks, I was feeling pretty trippy and it was late enough where it was acceptable to start heading home. We held hands and as a typical girl and college student I complained until I was blue in the face about my feet (#girlproblems)... With out any hesitation I slept at my friend Oscar's house with E and this other kid Kev I am cool with, too. And that's where the story ends... Sorry to leave on such a sour ending but the rest is for me to know and for you to... Not know? ;) Sunday, October 7th couldn't have been a better recovering day. After hopping on the noon train, I came home, bought Wendy's (JBC plain, small fry), and slept for like 4 hours? And the weather was gloomy, rainy, and just flat out snuggle, cuddle hangover weather. You know you always feel guilty when you're hungover and you sleep throughout a gorgeous day! It's fact.
So you can say my weekend was killer. Now the only thing left is to see if this weekend changes the way Eric and I act around each other or if we even stay good friends for that matter! I hope so. I would die if just a hook up broke up our friendship.

Side note: I'd like to tell ya'll about my outfit last night. The shoes that are shown are the ones I bought this past week (E helped me pick them out) and I actually purchased them at my local Kohl's! And guess what bitches? I'm hookin you guys up with a link to the EXACT pair! Click here to see the shoes I now call my "Gaga" wedges. They are by ELLE and they cost me about $50 (as you can see on the website). I am in absolute love with these wedges. They are extremely light in weight and if you're short like me, these 4 1/4 babies give you a nice little ego boost. Now you're probably asking, "Well, you said your feet were killing you? Why should I get them if my feet are going to hurt?" And you're right, but you're wrong. They are tremendously comfy! I don't wear shoes that aren't comfortable. The reason why my feet were killing me was because I was drunk and I was walking on uneven, crackily side walks (which hurt). And last, I wore my Forever21 royal blue and black striped, body con dress that cost me approximately $12 (I got it last season but you can find body con dresses any where). The reason I like this particular dress a lot is because it isn't too short (so you're not mooning everyone) and it has puff sleeves! So girly I can't even stand it. My outfit was sweet and simple. No accessories because I was afraid I was going to lose them.

Until next time readers! I hope your weekend was just as fab as mine ;).

Much love,

Happy

"Got my dreams, got my life, got my love. Got my friends, got the sunshine above. Why am I making this hard on myself? When there's so many beautiful reasons I have to be happy."

I promise, I am not depressed, I am actually happy. I honestly just love that song by Natasha Bedingfield.

After rereading my last post, I couldn't help but laugh. So nothing happened (I could of guessed that) but I am still working at it just not as desperately? If anything, we hung out all day yesterday after class and as we were about to depart from the mall, he grabbed my butt? Like what? And he would frequently bring up things like, "If we were going out..." or "my mom asks why we are always together..." Here I go again... Over thinking EVERYTHING that's said as usual. But over all, I really am pumped. This weekend coming up, it is happening. This weekend I am heading back down to the city with some girls (my Jew girls) and they are taking me to a "Jewish" frat. I'm actually super pumped for it? I want to get my dance on and all that (apparently the Jews really know how to throw down). The guy I was talking about approximately 3 sentences ago, he wants to join also (I'll have to convince the girls for that to happen). I'm stoked. That shit makes me happy.

I'll write more tomorrow when my brain isn't focused on the fact that my friend grabbed my ass.

Much love,
JTS

Lets Have Fun

I think I've finally had enough. I want to have fun.

I told my boss to suck it (just kidding), I want Saturdays off in October so I can actually have a life. Even though that means I am sacrificing my fat paychecks (fat = big).

Jumping right in to the rest of today's blog agenda... I am excited for tonight. Flat out, plain and simple, I think I might just pull off the unexpected. I have another good dude friend that I've been rekindling it up with these past few weeks and tonight we're doing the normal thing we always do:

1. Smoke hookah (if you don't know what that is, look it up)
2. Watch movies on Netflix

Sounds exciting, right? Wrong. I'm opening up and I'm breaking out (and up) my weed and making him smoke it. I'm not being nice. I'm making the most out of this night and if that means drugging him (along with myself), then so be it! We have never hooked up before (strangely). Ever. I mind as well just throw myself at him and see what happens. How could he refuse? He's a guy for God's sake (and stoned -__-). Ok uhh, hold up... Now reading that all back, I sound desperate and creepy as shit. But then again, I really don't care. I'm just telling you how my mind works! It's pretty sick, isn't it? What I'm trying to get at here is that I can't just be normal and try to do "things" (sounding like a 7th grade child) with him then THAT will be awkward. You might ask, (taken from Legally Blonde the movie) why now? Why this sperm? It's because I'm bored. And more importantly, I read over my last entry last night and came to the conclusion that I over think things (almost everything). I shouldn't even deliberate over stupid shit like that. Just do it. If I want to make out with someone's face, dry hump them in the driver's seat of their car, or (on a nonsexual note) sit next to a cute guy at school I shouldn't hesitate to do it. Just... Be reckless! I've had enough. Not everything has to be a "long term" thing. I'm still young (ugh... but getting older) and I should be able to do whatever. I'm not gonna hunt anymore to meet new girl friends or a boyfriend for that matter. I'm going to let them fall right in to my lap (maybe up until I'm like 20 something). I remember the good ol' days back in my Fresh meat year in high school... Ahh... I did whatever I wanted. Don't be surprised if my entries get more thoughtless and hasty. I'm starting Octobre (spanish) off like I should of started the new year last year off.

On a side note, day 4 was today and weigh in day, too. I lost 3 pounds and remember I am doing the diet in moderation! 137.2 to 134.2 so far...

Girls Or Boys?

So my post title might be a little bit misleading (I swear I'm not gay). I can't figure out which is more important... Is it more important for me to make new girl-friends? Or for me to meet a nice new guy? It hasn't left my mind at all today due to the fact I usually scope out a seat next to a cute guy in every one of my classes. But is it really worth it? I sat next to a girl this afternoon in my business class (she seemed pretty normal) and we immediately hit it off. We even walked together after class! Aww... So cute right? Lame. It's because I'm just not use to hanging out with or even making friends with girls. Team guy friends all the way! Over all, I can't seem to figure out which one is more important in my life right now? Friends or boyfriends? Hm..
As you can see to your left, I posted a few new photos I took recently. One of them being a gorgeous sunflower. Yes, yes, I did take that picture, I know it's that good ;). But I had to walk through my neighbors jungle yard to take it. Such sacrifice! But other than that, I got new black riders! Finally! I purchased them at my local JDR shoes and they were not expensive at all. Especially for the nice quality! I paid $50 for them and to top that, they have a dope fake out zipper design on the side (as you can see at the bottom).
On some other news, I got my period last night. Ha HA ha ha! Ok I didn't mean to just come out and say it but it is relevant because I can't be on that dumb sacred heart whatever diet if I have my period! Do you know how bad my cravings would be? Like a 7 month pregnant lady. Day 2 (which is today) is only THE soup and veggies (and I don't even like plain raw veggies). Can't handle it. So I'm doing it in "moderation" to make me feel better. I don't want to feel like a quitter (even though I pretty much am). Only a few more days and the lady curse will be gone and I can get back on track.

Much love,
JTS

Keep Calm And Move On

As you can see I changed my site just a bit (to give it more of a seasonal look), so I hope you like it! I also wanted to say I am a little disappointed in myself for not taking 2 minutes out of my day today to take a few pictures of my outfit. It was definitely picture worthy! But instead I will do you all a faveski and post a few links instead. (Before I post the links, I must warn you that everything IS FROM.. American Eagle, sorry!)

I am going to cut right to the chase and this is all related back to my "friend zone" entry a few days ago. I was doing some high thinking and I realized I am a better friend than what I was painted out to be when I wrote that post. He is an extremely good friend to me and I would be fucked up if I tried to sabotage his relationship with someone that he really liked (regardless if I had feelings for him or not). I know that if I were him and he were me, I would not appreciate it if he tried to break me and my boyfriend up (even though I do not have one -__-). If him and I were meant to be in a relationship, I'm sure it would of already happened by now! Clearly, we were just meant to be very good friends and his friendship to me means a lot (my only friend, really)! Soo I have decided to move on from that. I commend myself for being such a nice bitch ;)

Here is to an eventual weekend! Stay blazin my friends! (Song by my all time favorite, Wiz Khalifa)

Much love,
JTS

Get Out Of The Friend Zone

Good evening fellow readers! To your right is a picture I took today and posted it on (you guessed it) the gram! Today was an absolutely beautiful day but it was a complete tease. My favorite season is Autumn and of course, I spent the first day (even though technically it isn't Fall yet) stuck inside at work... I can't wait for the carmel apples, apple cider, the leaves, the weather, and the pumpkin spiced lattes! (But thankfully, I managed to capture at least this picture)

My main topic today is kind of big... So I'm gonna take a second and think of how I should start it... But in the mean time, I trained my trainee today (if you don't know what I'm talking about, look at my previous post) and she made me feel down right old. Is that weird? She's such a baby compared to me! She's a junior at the high school I graduated from and she doesn't even have her license yet (bummer). But at least it was an easy Monday and I managed to get out of there in time to have a decent dinner!

Ok I won't tease you any longer and start on talking about the friend zone. For those of you who don't have any idea what the friend zone is, here is a link to the Urban Dictionary definition (if the first one isn't good enough, scroll down to #3). Nobody ever, EVER wants to hear and talk about the friend zone. But I think... I could possibly be in it? I never thought about it before but recently one of my closest guy friends told me he really loved his girlfriend (of only 3 months -__-). Could it be jealousy more than anything (because he's a good friend)? Or do I actually like him... Like that? I'm having such a hard time figuring it all out. He came to the shore with me (and just me) at the end of August and I swear I thought that would of ended things! Ok, that sounds straight up, twisted, terrible but... Ok I'll be honest too, I haven't even met the girlfriend before but I can tell you I already don't like her. I've heard enough about her from other people. I'm going to back track just a tad so you people can get an idea on our relationship. My friend and I became close friends towards the end of my senior year in high school (we went to the same school, same grade) and at first we did have "feelings" for each other, but it didn't work out due to the fact I was still off and on with the dumb ass I talked about in my first blog entry and he was on and off with his ex also. We have never hooked up, and I repeat, never hooked up. Now back to the present, this whole friend zone thing is bull shit and to top it all off, I've been watching the friend zone TV show lately on MTV and fuck... That makes me feel so much worse! If you've seen that show, you know damn well what I'm talking about! It's like, what if I took that chance to try to tell him how I was really feeling and he just freaked out at me like the people on that show (oh god, I think I'm going to throw up). If I lost him as a friend, which I already feel like I am, I don't know what I would do! (We're going through a little right now because of the girlfriend) Typical, she doesn't like me! If I were her, I wouldn't like me either. She needs to go away, OH WAIT, she already is. I forgot to mention that, she is away at school. I've been telling him to watch out (and people have been saying the same to me about her) because she might say, "Oh, I swear I'm being good at school," but let's be real here... She probably isn't. It's college, a freshman in college. I probably wouldn't be good.

Help?

Much love,
JTS

Nice To Meet You

I feel like this first entry will be the hardest out of all of them. How do I even start? Where do I really begin? I suppose I shouldn't be rude and start off by saying nice to meet you and thanks for reading! I'm no ordinary girl, I always speak my mind (coming from one great band, Rebelution) so if I make you uncomfortable, then I apologize in advance.

I guess I should be a girl for once and dedicate this one to all you lovely ladies out there that has had or currently have boy problems. Because ooh you guessed it, one thing that has been on my mind lately is a boy. Not just any boy, a boy I've been "together" with for quite some time now. I don't have the heart to torture you people with my 4 year long relationship story (because that would take a whole month itself) that just so recently and so suddenly came to an end. But what I will tell you is what has happened recently...

This entire year has been a roller coaster. And not just any roller coaster, the one at Six Flags Great Adventure called King Da Ka (sorry if I spelled that wrong). I feel like I've been riding that damn ride all year long! This fool and I parted ways when he left for college last year and moved to Fairfax, Virginia (worst place ever). Keeping the distance issue in mind, he did come home a hand full of times throughout the year. But just as recently as August 5th, I invited him to come home for the day because I had Phillies tickets. He did and for some reason I could tell this time felt different than all of the others. I knew that we both were going through some different and difficult times trying to adjust to both of us "becoming adults" and being stressed with work, so I kind of let it go. But unlike every other time we had a visit we would always keep in touch after the visit which included vidchats and phone calls (this time was surely different). I hadn't heard from him at all? And I'm not including the occasional "Hey" text because that is all, and that meant nothing to me! There wasn't even a response back from him! So finally I spoke up about 5 days ago. I texted him asking was it the end of us? No response. Sadly, I sent the dreadful double text saying, "I just was curious because I need closure if that is true. I don't want to keep thinking about it." No response. So finally, the very next day (approximately 15 hours later) I texted him a third time saying, "I understand you're extremely busy so you don't have to answer, I already know the answer. I just wanted to let you know I am really proud of you and I wish you the best of luck in life! If you ever need me you know I will always have your back." No response. After being with somebody you apparently love for 4 years, how could you just completely stop talking to them? Not even 1 response! I would of been that much more satisfied if he even sent me a "fuck you" text! I don't understand? That's love alright!

What do YOU think?

Much love,
JTS
