What's Good 2013

Sorry I haven't updated in a while but a lot has happened in the past couple of days. Over the weekend I got in to a car accident so now I feel like I'm on house arrest or something? The front of my car looks like a fucking accordion. When it happened... I almost shit myself and I had so much adrenaline when I got home I couldn't even keep calm and talk to my parents, I was just crying and shaking all over like a little bitch. See what happened was (and yes, I am fully aware this was 100% my fault) that the day before I decided I was going to create a formal resume (sorry I don't have the cool accent e's), go on Craigslist, and apply for some office jobs. That next day I got a call from one of the places I had applied to and they wanted to interview me that day. That's where I was going when I rear ended some chick because my GOD DAMN GPS stopped working. I panicked and I wasn't paying attention. But with some bad, there comes some good! Next day, went to the interview and I got the job. I start the 8th and I am praying that it'll work out. I'll be the receptionist for some new spa place. It'll be interesting!

But anyways... Happy fucking New Year everyone! The big 2013! I wish I had a picture of the outfit I wore to the party I had went to but I have a link to the new jacket I wore (the outfit was a HUGE hit, if you know what I mean ;) ). I wore this black and white color block moto from Forever 21 (click Forever). With that I wore a black and white striped shirt underneath, my faux leather leggings (cheap ones from Sears), and my Elle heal booties. I killed it. Besides my outfit, I had a great time. I kissed everyone at the party and I became really close with my best friend Adam's (the guy who is in the air force) girlfriend, Rikki. She's a real sweetheart. Didn't realize how reckless everyone was until the next day. It was hilarious! And by the way, I think I finally broke my New Year's Eve curse. For the past 3 years I have spent NYE in my bed with a fever. I would wake up and everything would be all fine and dandy until like 6PM and my fever would kick in (super random). But this year, I made it out, and saw that ball drop! HOLLA!

That's it for today. I hope every one had a great NYE! And PS, I have been practicing and putting together some work outfits. This one is my favorite so far. This is my awesome leopard blouse, black cardi, AE dark jeggings, new brown boots (I got for xmas), and my new fossil purse! More soon?

Much love,

Merry Christmas List

I forgot to mention my last post Happy December! So with that being considered, I am extra excited to show you all today what is on my Christmas list this year. I feel like the more I get older the less is on my list but the things that I do want are like extremely expensive (which is annoying to me AND my parents but I can't help it).

Christmas list item numero uno: Nine West "Vashiza" Brown Leather Riding Boots at Boscov's (of all places -__-). You can click "Nine West" and it will take you right to them on Boscov's website. These boots are absolutely adorable and they are on sale for $119. I saw these in the city and almost begged my mom to death to help me buy them but she told me these would be better as a Christmas present. I hope she gets them for me! I need a plain dark brown pair of riders desperately! The dark brown pair I have already have a royal blue zipper which is extremely difficult to match...

Christmas list item number two: Fossil's Georgia Leather Watch in black. You can click on "Fossil" and it will take you right to the watch. I am pretty much addicted to Fossil's watches and purses if you haven't already noticed on my Polyvore site. This watch isn't my ALL time favorite but considering it is only $75 it's worth putting on my list. It's still appealing and different than the one I already have so I don't feel guilty about it.

Christmas list item number three: Fossil's Maddox Satchel in brown leather. You can also click on "Fossil" and it'll take you to the bag. So pretty much this purse makes me want to pee my pants a little. So with that being said, you get the point I am overly obsessed and of course it is unfortunately $218. I am definitely going to let my mom know that this is definitely a first choice purchase for Christmas. If I don't have this bag, I think my heart will explode.

Christmas list item number four: Gap Two-Tone Classic Pea Coat. You may click on "Gap" for the jacket! I have been desperately searching for the perfect pea coat all damn fall and I finally found it just in time for Christmas. I love this one because it's freaking two-toned! Like how bangin is that? Enough said. Only thing is... Is of course... It's $148 BUT never fear, coupons are here (especially for the gap :) ).

That's pretty much everything for my parents (besides like underwear -__-) but then also I made a list for myself of things I wanted to get at American Eagle (cause duh I work there and I get discounts)!

American Eagle item numero uno: Metallic Jegging in pewter. Click on "Jegging" if you want to see! Are they not totally awesome? I haven't figured out how the hell I'd wear them but you better believe I will be working on putting something together. Oh and they are $60 which is disgusting.

American Eagle item number two: Tuxedo Blazer. Click on "Blazer" to see how cute it is! I mean it's about damn time I found a cute plain black blazer and it is also on sale for $70 so yay! Now all I need is a nice office job to go with it...

American Eagle item number three: Studded Moto Boots. Click on "Boots" to check them out. But umm... I just had a vision. How tight would these boots be with those metallic pants? Umm... Yes. You'll be seeing that outfit soon enough. Sadly (again) these are like $80 and that makes me want to shit myself.

I hope everyone enjoyed looking through my one hell of an expensive Christmas list of things that clearly my family and I can't afford but we will see what happens. Last for today I wanted to show you all my first completed solo art project I did for my good ol' friend Eric. If you guys don't know what it is, it is a hookah. To the left of the hookah is smoke if you couldn't figure that out on your own (my bad) but I hope you all get a kick out of it like I did while I was drawing it. It took me only about a hand-full of days to do. By the way, this is ALL free hand with pencil then colored with Crayola colored pencils. I used a few different hookahs on google for references but that's about it.

(PS- I haven't come up 100% what I am doing yet for DIY gifts for my friends... That'll be next time!)

Much love,
JTS

Funny Disasters

This is going to be a long one. First things first, my Thanksgiving was just Thanksgiving, thanks for asking. AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PICTURE, I was really excited for turkey. Not only was I super excited to eat some turkey, I was really super excited to see my family (I hope you can catch my sarcasm. If not, I am being 100% sarcastic). You're probably wondering to yourself, "how could you not love Thanksgiving? And how are you not pumped to see your fam?" Well I will tell you. My family and I usually eat Thanksgiving dinner every 3 months because for some reason it is just THAT good (I don't see why), so for me it really isn't that special. Also, this Thanksgiving I couldn't care if I saw my family or not. My grandparents are a different story because they both are the tits but my aunts, uncles, and cousins... Not so much. All they do is cause problems. Thanksgiving over all, even though I wanted to eat dinner outside, I made it fun with my ridiculous comments. But anyway, MOVING ON, to your right is my turkey dinner outfit (how exciting). And you guessed it, ALL American Eagle (literally, and while I am listing, please forget I have a discount). Starting at the top is my metallic loop scarf from AE and that was around $25. I am not a huge fan of scarfs but I figured it was part of the whole "fall fashion list," I mind as well give it a try (click on scarf if you want to check it out). Next is AE last season's plain, peachy, tank. A standard tank is usually around $15 which is a lot but I will admit that the quality is really nice. Unlike Hollister's tanks, they don't fall apart as easily. Next is my crystal button cardigan by AE as well (cardigan is clickable). This is a really nice cardigan that I can see myself wearing for any season. It costs about $40 (which is a shit ton so I suggest you get a coupon). My jeggings are obviously from AE and these are one of my favorites (jeggings is clickable). My boots are ONCE AGAIN, American Eagle, and they cost me around $60 with a coupon and all ya'll already know that because I have posted them before. Lastly, is my bracelet set by AE for $20 which I love and is great for stacking with my fossil watch (bracelet is clickable).

Now everyone, I want you to look at this picture closely to your left. I want you to ignore my last name but recognize the fact I emailed it TO MYSELF, the subject of the email is "I fucked All of them," and I emailed this to myself at 4:48 in the morning on Thanksgiving (in my mind clearly it was still Thanksgiving Eve). How ironic is this picture? And not only ironic, it looks like one big disaster (hence my post title). Thanksgiving "Eve" is supposedly the biggest party night of the year (more like the biggest party day in November)? But my girls and I decided we wanted to have a girls night and get drunk at my house. After getting drunk at my house... We went to the boy's house (so much for girls night). And when I mean "the boy's" house, I am talking about Eric's. And that is how that extremely memorable picture that will never be deleted was captured. 4 extraUNordinary friends, in 1 extra DRUNK hilarious photo. Clearly they would not understand why this picture is so funny to me because they don't know about... Ya know... Fucking Happy Thanksgiving guys (no pun intended but really I intended it)! With all of that being said, I wanted to point out my email address is posted and if anyone would like to email me a question or even suggestions "privately," feel free. It is jesstaysan@gmail.com and you don't have to include your name if you do not want. Just make sure you don't fuck with me and be mean and shit or I will be pissed... Just saying because it is not necessary!

Last for today is my outfit along with my fun city adventure. This outfit is 100% dedicated to my Polyvore set "New Job Day 2" but the only change is my jean selection and shoe selection. This "shimmer tweed" blazer is definitely well worth the $80 because it is adorable. I wore it today and I can't tell you how many compliments I got on it. The thermal featured is from American Eagle as well and it says on the front "fall for me" which is kind of sketchy because there is a reindeer behind it BUT I still thought it was cute for $25. Next I wore my black jeans with my black boots! As you can see to the left... My mother is a ginger. We look nothing alike it is a little scary. Her and I went to the city today and got bangin breakfast at this sort of French pub like restaurant and I must say, it was to die for. We walked around even though it was chilly and stopped in to a few stores and even the market. The market in the city is always crazy busy but it was fun. We got 4th street cookies and cannolis for my good ol' pops!

This break was quite hilarious! Since this post is already longer than I wanted it to be, I will make sure next post I will tell everyone about my first day of work (Black Friday). Much more fun to come though especially tonight... Back off to the city with everyone!

Much love,
JTS

Thursdays Are Boring

I mean FML for attempting to try to make an OOTD collage at school in the bathroom (and I have my back pack on ;)). But on the other hand at least no one was in there (or I wouldn't of done it). My outfit are all items you can find in other posts. My American Eagle dark jean jacket, my Roxy pink sweater (which looks like a dress on me), my With Love From CA necklace, my Fossil watch, American Eagle white wash jeans (first time I've worn actual jeans in months), last my Forever21 chestnut colored gladiator sandals (that I stole from my mother).

Currently I am in my accounting class. Go me for being such a good student and not paying attention... This whole not having a job thing is really starting to bug me. It's been a little more than 2 years where I've been constantly employed with back to back jobs and now that record is gone because my boss rather get his dick wet than have people that actually work! Men... Other than my job crisis... I wanted to talk a little about my love life (surprised to say I barely even have one). I'll be hanging with E probably all day today, bullshittin. Cause what else is there to do? I'll meet up with him after this class, we'll drive somewhere, do the whole "see ya later" thing afterwards, then I will see him after dinner. Oh, I am suppose to buy him his Halloween costume today, too -__- (buy it your facking self). These are things I had in mind tonight... Possibly movies? And... That's it. Wow, I suck. And broke. FML!

Much love,

Get Your Make Up On

After a little time blog searching and a little time youtube surfing, I decided to go out and purchase my very first Bare Minerals starter kit. And even though I've been only using it for about a week, I have seen extreme improvement in my skin AND my self confidence (especially in the morning when I get ready for school) ;). So today I am going to not only talk about my OOTD (outfit of the day), I am also going to talk about my favorite make up products. So kind of like a product review?

First things first, to your left I made up a collage of the pieces I am wearing today! I'll skip all the things you already know like my new Fossil watch I purchased last week and also my black riders I wear CONSTANTLY. But one thing that is brand new is my Banana Republic sweater. I'm rocking a small but it is just big enough that I can wear them with leggings with out looking like a skank. The sweater was on sale at the outlets for around $15 and I can tell you all right now it is going to be one of my favorites. It is extremely comfortable, light weight, and surprisingly it is very girly. I am in LOVE with the 3 purple and gold detailed buttons on each sleeve at the top (as you can see in the photo, top left). It is a tad bit chilly today (but beautiful) so for next time I wear this outfit hopefully I'll remember to wear a cute black peacoat with it. Next are my nails! Usually I don't show my nails but I thought this Sephora by O.P.I color was dope. I've been real in to the color purple lately so when I found this I almost had a heart attack. The Sephora collection is a little bit more on the pricey side so you can find them around $9 a bottle (some are worth the money, some aren't). I usually don't branch out with other nail brands because I find that some to most brands just chip way too easily. BUT honestly, can you go wrong with Sephora? I'm not sure.

Now I can't wait to tell you all about my Bare Minerals!

I'll start with my all time favorite mascara by Maybelline called Great Lash "Lots Of Lashes." It's awesome because it has a "heart-shaped" brush which helps coat even the smallest of lashes. It does not clump and it makes my lashes like spider legs. I also buy my mascara in the shade very black. Next is my L'Oreal eyeshadow quad in the shade "Desert Sunrise" number 106. You can get any of L'Oreal's quad eyeshadows for around $7, which to me is a really good price especially for the quality and plus this palate can last you for a LONG time (and if you use it like every other day like me you know it lasts awhile). These quad palates are so perfect for me because I barely have enough time to put on my eyeshadow in the morning, let alone would I have enough time to come up with colors from a giant palate by myself. I have about a collection of 5 of these quad eyeshadows but this one would definitely have to be my all time favorite. It's my favorite because it's perfect for everything! You can lighten it up for the day time or even darken it up if you're going out at night. It's the perfect balance of light and pinky but dark and brown. L'Oreal gets an A+ from me because these calibos last forever on your eye lids (especially with a little bit of help)... And that leads me in to my next favorite product, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion! If I were rich, I would make sure every lady had a tube of this magical stuff. If you can't afford the $20 (soon I won't be either cause I lost my job), then I'm sorry but you better save up (luckily if you are willing to purchase it, it lasts you for MONTHS because you only need a little bit for each eye). If your face is oily like mine and you're frequently going to parties where dancing is involved, you need this. It is proven that after a long night, I swear, I thought my eye makeup would be drooping down my face but WRONG! This stuff keeps the shadow right in place (even if you do accidently rub it). There are different types of the primer tubes but I always buy the original. I don't know what I'd do without this stuff! Lastly, I bought the Bare Minerals 6 Piece Starter Kit in the shade "Light." I was a tad bit skeptical but after I saw and read all of the different reviews, I was convinced! The kit came with Bare Minerals "Prime Time" foundation primer, Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation in the color light, Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, Bare Minerals "Flawless Application" brush, Bare Minerals "Flawless Definition" mascara, and Bare Minerals 100% natural lipgloss in "Fruit Cocktail." And this all cost me $38, which was a fucking steal. Even though I think the mascara and lipgloss are really great, I am most impressed with the foundation and face productions. If you aren't familiar with Bare Minerals and their steps, I first apply the foundation primer all over my face which is really nice. I didn't think I was going to like it but it is extremely light and you only need a pea-sized amount. Next is twirl, tap, and buff the foundation all over my face (after applying my usual concealer) and I usually do 4 doses for medium to full coverage (depending on my acne). Last is a quick buff of the mineral veil all over. If you're like me, like I said, I have extremely oily skin and it takes a lot for me to find a product where it doesn't contribute to the oil/make me break out. This product does not what so ever and if anything, it makes my skin better! Not shiny, not anything! I am IN LOVE! The foundation is light and in blends right in to my skin like there is nothing there. Next I am going to have to try Bare Minerals foam wash to see if that improves my skin quality even more. I know Bare Minerals in general is a tad bit on the pricey side but trust me, it is SO worth it if you're struggling to find the right make up for you!

Sorry this post was a lot but I figured you all would appreciate the reviews and maybe give you guys a new idea on other products! If you have a product you'd like to share, feel free :)!

Much love,

Last Season Can Kiss My...

So I am extremely excited to share with you all today some good news, then some GREAT news. My good news is that I took a trip to my doctor and he swears that I am okay! He claims I just burnt a small hole in my esophagus by not taking enough water with my medicine. Oh so I guess that's no big deal, right? But already today it feels 10 times better. Then the great news would obviously have to be all my fabulous new purchases from the outlets on Thursday. First off I'd like to say if you're coming from my Polyvore page you can find a sample outfit of the sweater in the bottom right corner! It is under "Feeling Casual" (click feeling casual if you'd like to see). My sweater is from Pacsun but made by Roxy. I tried it on and I fell in love instantly because I shockingly have nothing like this. It is very light, flowy, and almost kind of distressed. I purchased it at the outlets for around $20 and if you want to see for yourself, here is a link to the shirt on Pacsun.com (click on Pacsun for the sweater)! Also from Pacsun I bought a necklace to go along with the Roxy sweater and that is made by With Love From CA. It is SO cute and I could probably pair it with almost anything peachy (which is great for me because that's my favorite color). Click here for the exact necklace! Last but MOST DEFINITELY NOT LEAST (sorry for the caps but it is just that big of a deal), Eric convinced me to get my very first watch. I have been literally dying for one so I decided to just go for it. This particular watch is from my most favorite brand of purses, Fossil. I feel like Fossil is so underrated compared to the standard Coach or even now Michael Kohrs. I don't give a shit how much you paid for your stupid Michael Kohrs watch, my watch is classy and simple as fuck and you can't compete with that (actually you probably can but let me gloat for a minute). But as you can see I am in love. It's got a nice big face, visible numbers, and I totally dig the steel. At first I was aiming for leather but hell, silver/steel goes with EVERYTHING. I paid around $100 for it and to me that is a steel (HA HA no pun intended, actually yea it was). And yes I know... Jess, It's so "last season" but that whole "last season" thing can kiss my ass. I like it just the way it is for THIS season :). If you'd like to check out the more expensive and "this season's" style of this Fossil watch click here. I got a couple of other things too from Banana Republic but you all will probably be seeing them soon in my "outfit of the day" portion in my posts. Overall, it was a pretty successful shopping night and making it even better E came along and I helped him pick out a few things ;).

Last night was fun. Bekah, Ash, and I met up at the hookah place near our high school because apparently every Friday night they throw down? News to me. A few other kids showed up from our community college (that sounds so lame) that we're chill with and in general, we all just had a good time. This weekend (obviously) is no where near as great as last weekend BUT I am okay with that. I'm hoping that this up coming week will fly by and I'll be back in the city again by Friday night with the guys and possibly my lady friends, too. Thankfully, I had today off (the start of me having Saturdays off from work for good) and I had time to clean and take my little sister out to eat.

Until next time my lovely readers!

Much love,
JTS

Feeling Extremely Grey

May I say that today is absolutely gorgeous outside! It's about time! It was just that beautiful, I ate outside today on my break. Another thing on my agenda for today is Eric and I are going to the outlets (if he isn't sick). I can't wait to shop. But as you can see I did another outfit collage, which is what I am rockin on this cool fall day. I can tell you all right now that you're gonna be seeing a lot of heavy sweaters and cardigans. So with that being said... My husky dark grey cardigan is from the Gap and it was on sale last season for around $30 (pretty good deal). It's perfect for fall and winter because it's SUPER long. I also love it because you know how some thick sweaters can be itchy? This one is not what so ever. Next is the adorable dark grey flower print T I got from J.Crew for about $20 (J.Crew is so expensive, even at the outlets). You can wear that T with seriously anything. Next (which isn't shown) are my favorite black jeggings I got on sale at Aeropostale. I'm pretty sure they cost me around $20 and they are "short," YAY (cause I'm only 5 foot). Next are my black boots I got from JDR (haven't discovered what brand they are yet) and they were around $50. Last but definitely not least is my ring that I bought at Charlotte Russe! One of the best places to get cheap cocktail rings besides Forev. It's adorbs and it only cost me like $8. It kinda matches my shirt perfectly? I loves it. Even though the weather is almost too good to be true, my grey and dull colored outfit fits my mood to a T. I need to go see a doctor. Every time I eat or even drink (so it is not heart burn) I get horrible chest and back pains! I honestly don't even wanna eat, it's sad. It is putting me in a bad mood. I hope it isn't something "bad." Hopefully I won't die between now and my next post because I'd like to explain what it is.

Off to the outlets!

Much love,
JTS

I Needed This Weekend

This weekend couldn't have went any better, honestly. It was crazy. I'm about to run through my entire weekend like it is my job. First on Friday, October 5th I worked late for "First Friday" which I probably already mentioned in one of my other posts. But if you aren't aware of what "First Friday" is, it is the first Friday of the month and apparently that is an excuse for businesses to stay open 4 hours later than normal and have "specials." And with that being said, people obviously take advantage and come out of their holes and walk around town. After I got off work, I went right to my friend's house (the one I've been trying to suck face with for the past 2 weeks now) and my other friend (who is his good friend and I've hooked up with once before) was there also. Talk about awkward.  Those guys are all about making (sexual) comments so you could tell when one or the other got uncomfortable. It was kind of funny. We just did the norm (norm = normal) and hung out. After the one kid left, I was left hanging to decide whether or not I should stick around to hang out with my friend (I should probably start using names only because I'm beginning to feel like I call everyone "my guy friend"). He offered to make me eggs (weird but nice), so I hung around expecting this egg experience to be taken further. We watched South Park for a bit and then continued the night watching Louie C.K. who is HILARIOUS. I knew nothing was going to happen the way I wanted it to but I was okay with that. He grabbed us a blanket, yada yada yada, and it was just a straight cuddle fest. Whatever, I was over it. But at the same time, I did know that if we hung out Saturday, October 6th we would get mangled (mangled = drunk) together and I would make sure something would happen! Even if that meant I had to go in and make the first move. Cheers! I went down to the city with my two girls (starting to introduce names) Bekah and Ash and went right to the Jewish frat (the one I was telling you about last entry). And I heard correctly... Those kids really did know what was up! They knew how to throw down. They were planning on 600 people but in all reality I would say it was close to 300 (still a shit load of people). They had close to 90 cases and all exclusive liquor bar (which I wasn't cool enough to see -__-) but luckily Ash brought a bottle for us to share (which is good enough for me cause I'm a light weight). I'm more of a party hopper than anything. I don't like staying at one place for too long so I contacted Eric (yes, that is his name). Eric and his friends attempted to get in to the frat but they were denied (due to maximum capacity and cops roaming around the party). So this is where things begin to get sketchy. I left the frat expecting the boys to be outside but once I got out there, they were no where to be found? Ring, ring, ring, voicemail... Ring again, no answer, ring, ring ring, what? They wouldn't even answer my calls either? I was fucked. I was all by myself and couldn't get back in to the frat because of the douche bag "brother" at the door (the girls weren't answering their phones either). So luckily, I finally got a hold of Eric and he sent me the address to the party. As if I knew were the fucking party was anyway? I don't live in the city! Another luckily, one of the brothers I had met in the fraternity walked out and as he was walking by me, he offered to take me to the street the party was on. My feet were literally on the verge of breaking but I was eager to see my friends (and to hook up with E -__-). I walked alone along the street and (typical) some random, small, creepy guy ran up to me trying to make conversation. No. I just wanted to make it to the party! At this point, I felt like 3 hours have gone by (but not really). This kid was not gonna leave me alone (I don't even remember his name) but he offered to get me in to the party my friends were at (because it was $2 a head and I was dead broke). We got in and immediately I was on the hunt to find my boys and I thought I was going to die because this kid would not stop trying to hold my hand and pull me out back to get jungle juice (jungle juice = toxic, dank ass drink that gets you trashed after two cups). All of a sudden, a ping pong ball bounced off my "Gaga" wedge and as I went down to pick it up I collided hands with (you guessed it kids) Eric. I was never more happy in all of my life to see somebody. I jumped in to his arms and I didn't ever want to let go. I went around to give all of the guys a hug and proceeded to tell them all about the kid that still wouldn't leave me alone. He was just being creepy watching alone and along the side lines waiting for me to approach him. NO, again. Now this is where I want to die (in happiness)! My plan was to go in and make all the moves first (cause clearly I didn't know what his intentions were) but I was caught by surprise... I kept grabbing his hand and he kept telling me don't worry about it "he's got it." I was slightly confused so I asked, "what do you mean you got it?" He grabbed my face and said, "this will make him go away," and he did exactly what I wanted to do... So much boo lovin (click on "boo lovin" if you don't know what that is, compliments to UrbanDictionary). I couldn't believe he actually went in for the kiss before I did? But then this kid actually approached Eric and was trying to say something about it! Like really? The whole night E had my back. After a few drinks, I was feeling pretty trippy and it was late enough where it was acceptable to start heading home. We held hands and as a typical girl and college student I complained until I was blue in the face about my feet (#girlproblems)... With out any hesitation I slept at my friend Oscar's house with E and this other kid Kev I am cool with, too. And that's where the story ends... Sorry to leave on such a sour ending but the rest is for me to know and for you to... Not know? ;) Sunday, October 7th couldn't have been a better recovering day. After hopping on the noon train, I came home, bought Wendy's (JBC plain, small fry), and slept for like 4 hours? And the weather was gloomy, rainy, and just flat out snuggle, cuddle hangover weather. You know you always feel guilty when you're hungover and you sleep throughout a gorgeous day! It's fact.
So you can say my weekend was killer. Now the only thing left is to see if this weekend changes the way Eric and I act around each other or if we even stay good friends for that matter! I hope so. I would die if just a hook up broke up our friendship.

Side note: I'd like to tell ya'll about my outfit last night. The shoes that are shown are the ones I bought this past week (E helped me pick them out) and I actually purchased them at my local Kohl's! And guess what bitches? I'm hookin you guys up with a link to the EXACT pair! Click here to see the shoes I now call my "Gaga" wedges. They are by ELLE and they cost me about $50 (as you can see on the website). I am in absolute love with these wedges. They are extremely light in weight and if you're short like me, these 4 1/4 babies give you a nice little ego boost. Now you're probably asking, "Well, you said your feet were killing you? Why should I get them if my feet are going to hurt?" And you're right, but you're wrong. They are tremendously comfy! I don't wear shoes that aren't comfortable. The reason why my feet were killing me was because I was drunk and I was walking on uneven, crackily side walks (which hurt). And last, I wore my Forever21 royal blue and black striped, body con dress that cost me approximately $12 (I got it last season but you can find body con dresses any where). The reason I like this particular dress a lot is because it isn't too short (so you're not mooning everyone) and it has puff sleeves! So girly I can't even stand it. My outfit was sweet and simple. No accessories because I was afraid I was going to lose them.

Until next time readers! I hope your weekend was just as fab as mine ;).

Much love,

Undatable

Hello and good afternoon! I finally decided to get an outfit collage together which is what I am wearing today and it is located down below! Woo! Before I begin I'd like to say that I swear, I am not a vampire, I am not that white (I was next to my window). First to your top left are my dark brown UrbanOg.com boots that are absolutely my favorite boots of all time (at least for this fall). They were around $35 and they are apart of the knee high bamboo montage collection. The reason why they're my favorite is because they are so easy to put on and they aren't tight at all around your legs. The quality is awesome for the price and I get compliments on them whenever I wear them! Only con I have for these boots is that they are a tad bit hard to match with because the zipper is bright blue (as you can see in the picture). Overall, awesome! Next, I'm wearing a bright blue cardi (to match the booties) and that is from Aeropostale (I know, so middle school) but it was on sale when I got it AND it's super simple. I also got the white ruffle tank from Aeropostale and that also was on sale when I purchased it. The tank is perfect because it's plain but it's super girly so you can dress up any cardi or jacket with it. Also last but definitely not least, is my FAVORITE bright blue feather necklace from American Eagle. At the time I bought it, it was around $15 and I was obsessed with feathers (so worth it). Ooh, and my jeggings are also from American Eagle (obviously) and I'm wearing the dark wash not destroyed.

I really don't have too much to talk about today. Only thing really is that I hung out with some guy friends last night and I forgot about my biz (biz = business) test that was today. Ugh... Typical! I guessed on every question! Fail. Tonight, I possibly am going to FORCE my man friend to hang with me. How romantic -__- Just kidding. I'm undatable! I need to make myself datable!

Much love,
JTS

Girls Or Boys?

So my post title might be a little bit misleading (I swear I'm not gay). I can't figure out which is more important... Is it more important for me to make new girl-friends? Or for me to meet a nice new guy? It hasn't left my mind at all today due to the fact I usually scope out a seat next to a cute guy in every one of my classes. But is it really worth it? I sat next to a girl this afternoon in my business class (she seemed pretty normal) and we immediately hit it off. We even walked together after class! Aww... So cute right? Lame. It's because I'm just not use to hanging out with or even making friends with girls. Team guy friends all the way! Over all, I can't seem to figure out which one is more important in my life right now? Friends or boyfriends? Hm..
As you can see to your left, I posted a few new photos I took recently. One of them being a gorgeous sunflower. Yes, yes, I did take that picture, I know it's that good ;). But I had to walk through my neighbors jungle yard to take it. Such sacrifice! But other than that, I got new black riders! Finally! I purchased them at my local JDR shoes and they were not expensive at all. Especially for the nice quality! I paid $50 for them and to top that, they have a dope fake out zipper design on the side (as you can see at the bottom).
On some other news, I got my period last night. Ha HA ha ha! Ok I didn't mean to just come out and say it but it is relevant because I can't be on that dumb sacred heart whatever diet if I have my period! Do you know how bad my cravings would be? Like a 7 month pregnant lady. Day 2 (which is today) is only THE soup and veggies (and I don't even like plain raw veggies). Can't handle it. So I'm doing it in "moderation" to make me feel better. I don't want to feel like a quitter (even though I pretty much am). Only a few more days and the lady curse will be gone and I can get back on track.

Much love,

High Times

I hope my pictures came out right because I was going for a vintagey "Fall" look. To your top left is one of my top favorite Fall drinks, pumpkin spiced chai latte. And next to that are my new riders I got in the mail today! The light brown pair was purchased from American Eagle (go figure) and they were $60 with my AE coupon (here is the link if you wanna check em out). The darker boots are by UrbanOg.com (click on UrbanOg if you wanna reach their website) and they are apart of the "knee high boots" category and are under the bamboo montage collection. They are a little bit on the cheaper side, so I got them for $35. I love both of them because they are simple (just the way I like em). If you are coming from my Polyvore site, you've probably seen these boots used in my sets (...repeatedly). Last but not least, I was invited to go to the Phillies game last night with my friend and her boyfriend (3rd wheel status) and we got 14th row back which was totally awesome AND it was dollar dog night.

My blog today might turn off some of you but this is just who I am. I guess you could say I'm a pothead? I don't think I am exactly because to be a pothead I feel like weed needs to fully take over your life, ya know? To be honest, I smoke it at night about 30 minutes before I want to go to sleep (that 30 minutes leaves me time for the munchies)! I have an awful time trying to fall asleep and it helps me knock the fuck out and stay asleep throughout the night. Sounds a bit "drug addicty" but I was thinking it is definitely not worse than the people who take NyQuil (sorry if I spelled that wrong) or any other sleeping pills, right? Because you can overdose on them and not on Marijuana (this argument is completely stupid because I sound like a 12 year old)! Weed does not effect my work, my school performance, and my friends/family in anyway, shape, or form. Anyway, who cares! It's recreational. Last night was the first time I smoked in about a few weeks (minus the time I attempted to take dry resin hits from my bowl = fail) and I got ripped. I do this thing where every time I smoke with a new group of people I record the conversation going on via. Iphone. It's probably the funniest shit you'd ever hear. One of the other things I do is I have a list of "funny" thoughts (also located on the Iphone) and one of the things I wrote down yesterday was a fish book concept (I'm guessing a children's book). I wrote, "fish concept where they have a competition to see who (out of all the fishes) taste the best and the reason why they don't hook on to some peoples bait when people are fishing is because some fish are more "higher class" than others and want better bait," OK... What the fuck? Talk about being open minded for christ sake! I remember looking in to the mirror last night after I got out of my shower and told myself I looked like a "raccooner" (raccooner = raccoon). I'm guessing because my makeup was all over my eyes?

Much love,

Goodbye Rapunzel Hair

Here is the outfit I put together for school today! I am an American Eagle freak (I think it's my weakness). Starting from top to bottom, I'm wearing: AE lace tank, Banana Republic purple cardi, BR purple/gold chain necklace, AE light destroyed jeggings, and Forever21 copper sandals (PS, I swear my toes don't look like that in person)!

Referring back to my last entry about standing around in between classes, problem: semi-resolved! I found a couple of kids that I use to go to high school with and luckily I'm not socially awkward (I could talk to anybody, I mean anybody).

And last but not least before I get to my main topic of the day... I found a penis on Instagram and I was really taken back. Like honestly, what little boy has the balls (no pun intended) to post a "dick-pic" on Instagram? It caught me completely off guard! Apparently, there is a whole other world on the gram that I had no idea about. It's like where you tag on your photo "kik" or "kikme," others can send them nudes, too!? Mind blown. It's like one big orgy on the gram. I don't know how I feel about it.

Other than that nonsense, I am getting my hair cut this afternoon (hence the fact I made my post called "Goodbye Rapunzel Hair"). I couldn't be more scared (not of the salon but actually chopping off my hair)! I haven't cut my hair in what feels like years. Last time I cut it short, I snipped off almost 10 inches. Apparently, I looked like a soccer mom? I think I will stick with a happy-medium today, ya know? The only real reason I need it cut is because it's dead. Not only am I getting 5 or 6 inches off, I am going to try the now trending middle part! Which to me is hilarious because back in high school, I made fun of every girl (or boy) that tried to rock a middle part. Apparently it's a 2012 thing? A gram picture will be posted tomorrow, for sure (and not a nudey #kikme hahaha)!

Much love,
